About Orbit

Orbit is a one-shot gravity puzzle. Your comet sits on a launch pad at the bottom of a little solar system, and home is a small blue planet near the top. Pull back like a slingshot and let go. Every planet, moon and black hole pulls on the comet as it flies, so no shot goes straight — the skill is in reading how the sky will bend your path.

How to play

Press anywhere on the sky and drag backwards, away from where you want to go. The further you pull, the faster the comet flies. A dotted line shows the start of the path; let go to launch. Fly through the three stardust sparkles for stars, and touch the home planet to land. Hit another planet, fall into a black hole or drift off into space, and the comet comes back to the pad — your last path stays on screen as a faint line, so you can adjust.

Tips

  • Big planets pull harder. Aim to pass beside them, not at them, and let them curve you round.
  • Slower shots bend more. A gentle launch that swings round a planet is often the way home.
  • Glowing rings are bumpers — the comet bounces off them. Use them to change direction.
  • Moons move. The same aim can hit or miss depending on where the moon is when you get there.
  • Black holes pull hardest of all. Skim past fast, or stay well away.

Stars and levels

Every sky is tested before you see it: the level maker fires hundreds of test shots and keeps only skies with a real landing path, and places the stardust along one — so three stars is always possible. Early skies show a long aiming line and one or two planets; later ones shorten the line and add rings, moving moons and black holes. After a landing, turn over a bonus card for a longer aiming line or an extra hint.
