About Hexflow
Hexflow is a network puzzle played on a grid of hexagons. Each tile holds a piece of pipe — a straight, a bend, a three-way junction or a dead end — and every tile can be turned in six directions. Power starts at the glowing source in the middle. Your job is to turn the tiles until every pipe joins up, every tile is lit, and nothing is left pointing at a blank edge.
How to play
Tap a tile to turn it one step clockwise; shift-tap (or use Shift+Enter) to turn it back. Two tiles only connect when both point at each other. The bar under the board shows how many tiles are powered and how many loose ends remain. Right-click or press and hold a tile to lock it once you are sure of it, so a stray tap cannot undo your work.
Tips
- Start at the edges. A tile on the border can never point outwards, which often leaves only one or two ways it can sit.
- Dead ends are the easiest clues: a tile with a single exit must point at a neighbour that can point back.
- Work outwards from the lit region. A fix far out in the dark tells you nothing until the flow reaches it.
- Par is the fewest turns that solve the board. Matching it is the mark of a clean solve.
Levels and rewards
Every board is generated fresh and is always solvable, because the network is grown as a tree before it is scrambled. Levels get larger and denser as you climb: Easy from level 1, Medium from level 4, Hard from level 9 and Expert from level 15. Clear a level to unlock the next and turn over a VIP card for bonus points or a head start.
