About Rescue Boat
Rescue Boat is a fast little sea rescue. Parachutists are drifting down over the bay, and every one of them wants to go ashore on one side: the beach island on the left, or the harbour on the right. Their parachute colour — and the arrow they carry — tells you which. You steer the rescue boat. It has three seats.
How to play
Drag left and right anywhere on the sea to steer (or use the arrow keys). Sail under a parachutist to catch them. Sail to a bank and everyone who wants that bank hops off. Anyone who lands in the water swims and shouts for help for a few seconds — scoop them up in time, or a lifeguard steps in and you lose a heart. Three hearts: lose three people and the rescue is over. Rescue the number of people the level asks for to clear it.
The raft
Press Drop raft (or R) to put a big floating raft on the water where your boat is. People who land on it are safe for as long as you like, and when you sail over it with the button again you can unload passengers onto it to free your seats. Sail over it later with empty seats and they climb back aboard. You only get one raft (two on later levels), so where you put it is the whole plan: in the middle to catch people, or beside a bank as a waiting room.
Tips
- Plan your trips. Three people for the same bank make a full boat — and a full boat pays a bonus.
- A mixed boat still works: drop one side off, then carry the rest across.
- Crates take a seat if you catch them. Let them splash, or drop them at either bank.
- Grey rocks fall fast — move out of the way. A rock that hits the boat stuns it and knocks a passenger into the water. On later levels sharks do the same: sail across while their fin is down.
- Watch the water: a shadow shows where each parachutist will land.
- Gold parachutes bring bonuses: ⛵ a bigger boat with five seats, ⚡ a speed boost, or 🛟 an extra heart.
Stars and levels
Clear a level with all three hearts for three stars. Levels bring more people, faster falls, then crates, rocks and sharks. After each clear, turn over a bonus card: start the next level with the big boat, or with an extra heart.
